Tap in with Anitoku and learn about our upcoming art contests for 2026, previous winners in 2025 and more!

We’re Just Getting Started!

No literally, we’re just getting started! After the huge success of December’s “Aura Farmer” themed Art Contest we needed a good break for the beginning of the year. So, the next contests will start in March and April!

In December, we had a whopping 50 entries! And because we had so many contestants, we thought it was only fair to increase the number of cash prize winners to a total of 7!

We spent a lot of time promoting and advertising the contest every day for the entire month of December. Posting to social media 3-7 times a day to make sure we got the attention of as many artists as possible.

At first, only one or two artists joined every few days, but as consistency and momentum began to build, more and more artists joined every day.

Pretty insane to watch in real time. We also had to adjust the site multiple times to make sure it could handle all of the new visitors.

It was a lot of work, but it paid off and we’re glad everyone enjoyed themselves. It was an amazing experience to see everyone so hype! And thank you to everyone who participated!

The Winning Aura Farmers of 2025

Please extend a warm congratulations to the winners of the final art contest of 2025!

As with every contest the normal number of winners is 3 but as the number of contestants grows, we try to compensate for that by increasing the number of winners as well. So, we ended up with a total of 7 winners!

Our #1 Champion for December is the talented Xiozenx! Congrats fam!

Fantasy character with bunny ears, a crown, braided hair, and a sword adorned with skulls. Wears ornate robe with gold designs. Mysterious mood.
Sukecchi スケッチ - Xiozenx

And of course, congrats to the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th and 7th place winners: Yoshiii, Galacticspacecats, Punklaw, SamIam, Nagisayumekui, & Neoshaleshay!

White-haired warrior with glowing red eyes and golden armor wields a fiery pink sword in a dark, mystical setting. Intense and dynamic.
Purgatory - Yoshiii

Two characters in dark attire stand among red flowers under a moonlit sky by a wrought iron gate. One wears an eyepatch, creating a mysterious mood.
An Angel from the Grave - Galacticspacecats

A dynamic figure in a hooded jacket jumps amid colorful, fiery energy with beams of light and rocky debris. Intense and action-packed mood.
Unstoppable Hero - punk__law

Warrior in fur cloak and armor holds glowing green sword. Rugged look, intense eyes. Red background with "DEATHSEED" text.
Deathseed - Sam_i_am

Anime character with spiky blonde hair grinning fiercely in front of a fiery background. Wears a black headband and orange attire. Red swirls.
The Child of Prophecy - Nagisayumekui

Two women with neon colors stand near glowing tech, one holding a gadget, another a gun. Text reads "ASCEND." A floating figure above. Futuristic vibe.

As usual, we ask everyone viewing to check out, support and follow your fellow artists!

Upcoming Art Contests for 2026

Man, 2026 has already been a busy year, so we needed some time to calibrate and prepare for the next few contests.

We’re still preparing at the moment, but we have already decided the themes for the next few contests. Here they are!

March Contest Theme: “Ultimate Technique”

April Contest Theme: “Regeneration”

One of our artists asked recently if we could do a super powered theme which we definitely always love. We didn’t want to be too on the nose with superpowers as that’s very specific and we like to artists room to interpret the themes outside of the box.

So “Ultimate Technique” seemed like a very cool option in that sense.

And “Regeneration” is an obvious super powered theme but it’s perfect for the month of April as it’s the true beginning of the new year and represents new life of the seasons.

As always Art Family, interpret the themes in your own way and do your best!

Dates, Rules and Cash Prizes

This contest will start on March 1st 12 am and end on the 31st 11:59 pm. As usual the voting will take place on the Art Contest Voting page for 7 days and the winners will be tallied and revealed on the 8th.

The rules will remain largely the same with one small change:

  • Artwork must be original (no AI, no copied, traced, or stolen art).

  • Both digital art, traditional art and fanart are welcome.

  • Any size is allowed, though upright portrait orientation or square 1:1 is preferred.

  • Submissions must be in high-resolution JPG or PNG format.

  • By entering, you allow Anitoku to share your work on our website and social media (with full credit to you, of course).

  • The contest is open to all artists worldwide.

  • Lastly, for every contest going forward, the art submitted needs to be a new creation: meaning you cannot submit any art that you created before the start of the contest.

We’ll explain the reasons for this small change after the prizes.

The prizes will also remain the same:

🥇1st place winner: $100 + pinned on homepage & [Winners] tab of the Art Contest page

🥈2nd place winner: $50 + pinned on [Winners] tab of the Art Contest page

🥉3rd place winner: $25 + pinned on [Winners] tab of the Art Contest page

🎖️x3 or more Honorable Mentions: pinned on [Winners] tab of the Art Contest page

2025 Art Contest Shortcomings & More Slight Changes

With every great endeavor comes equal or harder challenges and roadblocks. This art contest event was no different.

However, like Marcus Aurelius states “What stands in the way becomes the way”. So, we use those challenges to make ourselves better.

For each contest we activate Meta and TikTok ads to supplement the community votes to help find our winners, but this particular time was largely a waste as most of the visitors coming in from the ads did not vote for some reason.

Not only that, but we had a few contestants spam voting for themselves and also having other people spam vote for them as well.

We understand this was a competition with cash prizes involved and things get heated liked that, so we’re not too upset about it.

All of that happening at once was very frustrating. However, we still gotta strive to create a space with fair voting and results, so we couldn’t allow that to go on. And we also had to find a way to get a sufficient number of true and honest votes.

The best alternative was to utilize our social media by asking our supporters, passerby’s and our close family and friends to vote for their favorite artists as we couldn’t rely on the spam votes. And thankfully, thanks to our loyal friends, family and art enthusiasts this worked out for the best and we found our 7 winners!

Going forward we will be using this system of voting to find our future winners.

Please understand, we have to do it this way to ensure the final results will be as fair as possible.

And lastly, although we did allow artists to submit art that they previously created before the contest, for all future contests, the art submissions have to be newly created works of art.

Most of the artists who won in December created their work specifically for this contest which we truly appreciate as they showed a great deal of dedication and care.

We thought this would be best going forward as it will create a level of fairness and commitment as everyone will have the same amount of time and effort to create their work for submission.

December 2025 Aura Farmers & Honorable Mentions

Whether you won 1st place or last, every artist deserves to have their art seen, supported and appreciated!

So, as with every community art event we host, we’d like to ask you all to check out and follow the artists who participated in the art contest below.

Once again Art family, thank you to everyone for participating in our art events and if you’re new here, we hope to see you in the next Art Contest!

We’ll be announcing the themes for the next few contests shortly, so tap in and stay updated on the Art Contest page!
